Exactly the same for me. Really, I find this all very humiliating for Sonos. They really need to see what the hell is going on with the apps team. After every update, a new surprise. First time I open the APP and it even can recognize my system. And this happens fairly often. Performance is still mediocre at best and stability is what we all are experiencing...
Another example of how bad this is (and I don't really care about this functionality), is adding Alexa as voice assistant. It just keeps spinning when signing in Amazon. Really, ridiculous...
Sonos really has to get their sh*t together. I'm fairly sure they already lost users because of this app mess and they will continue to lose if this continues like this.
Another update after 5min playing with app. All of the sudden, the favorites came up again but now I can't open a single album. Just "Something went wrong"... Restarted the app like 5/7 times. This is so ridiculous…
BTW, using the Amazon app and connecting it to my speaker works and I can open my albums and play them! Really, if you can't handle it just have an app for configuring the system and don't give any type of playback functionality. At least allow us to play Dolby Atmos content trough external Apps so we can have the best of the HW without having to go with your miserable SW.
And it also seems that the web app is no better. Very very slow… I really wonder if anyone is taking all of this seriously and watching all the complains. I mean, are they really ignoring a 1.2 rating in play store?!! It’s so damn frustrating having great HW just so crappy SW makes the whole experience a complete, total pain.
