Hi there,

When I try to add a new music service to my system, I get an error that states:

”You have reached the maximum number of music service accounts that can be added to your Sonos system. Please remove an existing account before adding a new one.”

Does anyone know what this limit is? Has it changed at some point? I couldn’t find any info in the forum or support site that specifically called out the limit or error message.

Interestingly, I have deleted a couple of services but I still get this error, so at some point in time I was able to have more music service accounts than I have now (30 accounts over 26 music services, plus one voice service (Sonos)).

Thanks.

I’m not aware of any limit here…but then, I didn’t code this. As a suggestion, I’d reboot both your Sonos Speakers and your router, and then test again. If it keeps on occurring, I’d call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.

I chatted with support earlier in the week and they advised the limit is 32 including Sonos Radio and TuneIn. There must’ve been some other issue going on though as I was under that and couldn’t add any more services, so I had to delete them all, reset and uninstall the app, restart my phone, and setup the services again.

I think the limit is 30, I have one system with that many and get a cryptic error when trying to add any more.
