Hi,

I run the Sonos S2 app on my Macbook (current OS Ventura 13.4, but problem has persisted since Monterey) and it’s connected to a Belkin Thunderbolt dock, which provides network connectivity via ethernet.

When I stop work in the evening, I power down and disconnect the dock.

The next morning, when I power up the dock and wake up the macbook, the Sonos App goes unresponsive and I have to force quit.

Anyone seen this?

I’m not a Mac user, but on my PCs I never power down the dock, and /i only disconnect it when taking the laptop somewhere.

I can guess why the Sonos app is freaking out, so I suggest leaving the dock connected and its power alone, just sleep the laptop.

Thanks for the answer;

I’m sorry but when I pick up my laptop from the dock and then reconnect it I have at least 20 applications requiring network connectivity. None of them hang because their network connection went away.

In my opinion, it’s a bug which is overdue for a fix.
