How to install the previous app on iOS

This is more of an FYI because I see many asking if they can go back to 16.1 on iOS. Apparently you can, but YMMV.

From Reddit

You may need a PC/Laptop

  • Install AltStore on PC (follow their instruction)

  • Download the previous .ipa file (Google it)

  • Install it

If you can’t find the 16.1 IPA you can follow these instructions to get it. Keep a copy of it and you will always be able to go back to it.

Thanks but not updated on laptop only on iPhone 

I tried both Altstore and the iTunes/Charles methods, both were somewhat complicated and neither worked for me.  But then I found a reference to Sideloadly, simple to use and it works!!  Get it here:
