Hi,

I’m having issues with my sonossystem for the past 3 years. Me and the support team really tried everything with my managed switches and al speakers are wired (6 of them) but we couldn’t solve it.

To try something diferent, I bought a Sonos Boost yesterday and unpluged all the wired speakers. But all my speakers are still connecting to the wifi, instead of the boost. How can I force my speakers to connect to the boost?

Thanks in advance!

Thomas

Hi.  I am not sure what the problem with the switches was, but we’ll go with the current situation..

If it weren’t for the Sonos Roam listed in your profile, I would suggest removing WiFi credentials from Sonos.  It might be worth doing that temporarily anyway.  Once the other speakers have connected to SonosNet they may stick there.

If you have separate SSIDs for 2.4GHz and 5GHz you might just put the 5GHz credentials back into Sonos.

Settings, System, Network, Manage Networks.

And often a simple power cycle will nudge the speakers in to reconnecting to the ‘new’ connection method.
