Hi,

I’m not sure which products to choose when upgrading. Pls help :) 
My current setup is listed below, I’m currently using the S1 app.

  • Amplifier: Connect AMP
  • Main speakers: B&W 606
  • Subwoofer: B&W ASW608
  • Extra speakers: Play 1 (2 pcs)
  • Sonos Bridge

I would like to switch out the old Connect AMP with the new Amp in order to get my TV connected to the setup…. questions:

  1. Will I be able to keep my Main speakers and Subwoofer?
  2. Will I need to switch out the Play 1 speakers (dont think they work with the S2 app)?
  3. Will I still need my Sonos Bridge, or does it have to be replaced?
  4. Should I also get a soundbar?

If you upgrade to the Amp, you can still use your B&W speakers and subwoofer.

The Amp and Play:1s will work on the S1 or S2 app.

You don’t need the Bridge anymore. Just remove it from your setup completely.

If you get a Sonos sound bar, you won’t be able to use the Amp/B&W speakers as front speakers in an home theater setup anymore. They will either have to be used as surrounds (without the subwoofer) or used separately as a different “room” or zone.
