Hi there, looking to install a Sonos system where I can hard wire a number of speaks in different rooms, any suggestions on what system I should purchase?

If you want your electronics in a central closet and wired speakers around the house some number of Amps is likely to be your best option. Second best would be some number of Ports and a multi room multi-channel non-Sonos amplifier.

You’re going to need to provide a lot more information about your rooms and what you want to accomplish in each room for anyone to be able to give you any useful advice. What rooms will have TVs, how big are the rooms, balance of tv/music, and what sort of TV audio quality (atmos, surround, etc) you’re looking for.
And Sonos is a wireless whole home system. There is no need to hard wire, although you can if you want to.
