Hi all ,

Im looking to purchase my first ever sonos product .

im looking for a great speaker to listen music at home. As a family we always have the music on and I think a sonos setup would be great.

I was thinking about the sonos one speaker ? I’m weighing up whether getting the latest generation or two older generation sonos ones?

any advice greatly appreciated

The Sonos One, in both variations, is great.  If your budget can stretch, and your space can accept it, a stereo pair is even better, although in some situations can be overkill. For instance, in a kitchen, a single speaker is often great, since there’s little opportunity for serious listening in a “sweet spot” since you’re moving around. You could say the same thing about other areas….if people are moving around, a “mono” speaker is a better solution, although several mono speakers might help, depending on the size.

Again, budget, but I really do like the sound of the Sonos Five, too.
