can someone pls share the serial numbers of the Sonos Five series. Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3. For white and for Black.

To what purpose? They’re fairly easy to distinguish, as the PLAY:5 Gen 1 has a different form factor, and the PLAY:5 Gen 2 and Sonos Five have different names.

im interested in purchasing the Sonos Five in white, and see lots of options/prices on Amazon from various resellers. So to be sure I wanted the serial number of the 2nd and 3rd gens in white.
Those two devices look the same, but if you get a picture of the label, one will say PLAY:5, which is the Gen 2, the other will say Sonos Five, which might be called the Gen 3.
I’m not aware of anywhere that you could get the range of serial numbers.

There is a pretty big visual difference between the three models:
Play:5 (Gen 1)
Play:5 (Gen 2)
Five
Note: There is only one generation of the Sonos Five. There are two generations of the Sonos Play:5.
