Does this seem acceptable for a refurbished product?

No. Not at all.


Assuming it was purchased from Sonos direct, I would contact the sales or support team to get the matter resolved.

In fairness to the people that prepared it, that looks to just be polish - but it suggests that the prep was a bit inept! If it were mine, I would try a damp cloth just on the bits where the white is and see if it comes off. You may find that it’s as simple to solve as that.

I’m not saying that it’s right, but that could save you the annoyance of packing it back up and shipping it back.
