Recently my 10 yo Bose Lifestyle 535 system died. Looking at building a Sonos system. Basically we would use the system for music over Pandora and Netflix shows/ movies. So far I have purchased an Arc soundbar and a mini sub. Now looking for speakers. My questions are;

1. Is there any advantage in buying from Sonos? I see that several local stereo shops sell the Move 2, Era 100 and 300. The  major  retailers like Best Buy, Costco and Sam’s also sell Sonos equipment. Not much difference in prices among them.
2. .Historically, does Sonos offer Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales on speaker?
