Hi all.

Just completed building my workshop and need to get Sonos in there, however I'm concerned about the temperature issues. Not sure which Play device would best cope with the cold weather or if a connect amp would be better.

Worshop is insulated and plywood lined but insulation is minimal.

Any help or advice would be appreciated!

Regards Dave

P.S. Any update on Echo integration Ryan?

Thanks Ratty, Play 1 should be okay then? Might need a stereo pair 🆒
And a SUB, naturally.

You'd probably want to keep them powered off in the winter time while you're not out there.

I started with a Stereo pair of Play 1s in our "Garden Room" aka shed! They sound great and put up with the extremes of temp when the heating is off in the winter and the doors are closed in the summer. The addition of a sub was an speculative buy with the knowledge that it could be returned. However after the 1st listening it was going nowhere 🙂
