I’m atrracted to a Beam but can’t afford the eye-watering price of a Sub.
If I pair it with my existing Move, would that give me any benefit at the low frequencies? It’s only a small room 2.5 x 2.5 m so I haven’t a huge space to fill

No, not really. The Move is not designed to be part of a Home Theater setup, as it lacks the hardware to be on SonosNet. It would certainly play streamed music in sync, but when playing the input from the TV to the Beam, there would always be a minimum of a 75ms delay between the two speakers.
