Sonos Connect S15 goes offline

I’ve seen some prior discussion on this, with no specific resolution.

I have two identical Connect S15 units.  Both are on wired connections, not WiFi.  One recently started going offline (does not even respond to ping).  This repairs on reset, the unit works for a few minutes then goes offline again.

No changes to the network, the other unit works fine.  I’ve tried swapping their positions in the house, no change.  Factory reset didn’t help.

Sounds like a HW failure, are there any easy repairs?

1/ Have you tried both Ethernet ports?

2/ Can the awkward Connect use a wireless (SonosNet) connection to the other, wired, one?

While it is on-line submit a diagnostic, note the number. When it goes off-line submit another diagnostic and contact Sonos with both numbers and see if they can see anything.

If you have the radios disabled you might want to do a second set of diagnostics with them enabled.
