Hi,
I have a friend who hasn’t been able to re-index his Sonos system for 3 to 4 years. I believe his system is pre the S1/S2 split but did re-index in about 2018.
Of course the problem is he can’t upadate because the newer Sonos/iPad control point software needs his iPad to be updated which Apple have now stopped.
He can’t afford a new iPad, how can I get him past this?
I have a Sonos S1 system and an up to date iPad. If I connect my iPad to his network and then update his system (I presume I could) will that then prevent his ipad being able to play music at all?
