Line in sonos amp

On the sonos app, if I select Line in to play an LP on the Amp (as I usually do), nothing happens. The timer goes on forever. 
This happened all of a sudden ... 

any suggestions ?

Try unplugging the Amp from power for about a minute and rebooting your phone.

Do you use autoplay? If so is the amps room itself selected as autoplay-room in settings?

Do you have another source device that you can test with the Amp instead of the turntable? This test will narrow down the location of the problem. If you can test other cables too, please do so. Thanks.
