3rd party subwoofers

I currently have an Arc, AMP and a Move.  I have the AMP hooked up to a pair of speakers and linked to the Arc for surround sound on the TV.  I also have a 3rd party (Polk-audio self powered) sub-woofer that I’m trying to integrate with the AMP to enhance the surround sound but it doesn’t seem to be working. I use the app for that room and tap “connect sub” but the app can’t find the sub.  Any suggestions?  Are there unique connections that need to be made?

When the Amp is being used for surrounds in a Sonos home theater setup, it disables the line-in and subwoofer output on the Amp. So you cannot connect a third-party subwoofer to the Amp with your setup. Your only option is getting a Sonos Sub.
