I purchased two Era 100s to create a stereo pair and connect to my iMac for computer audio. I purchased the line in adapter. Audio via line in is incredibly quiet. I went to the line in settings and set level to “mac computer”, and that barely helped. I finally set level to 10 (the highest available) but even with my iMac volume set to max, it was a very quiet sound coming from the speakers.

I switched to Wi-Fi connection, and the audio was super loud, so I know it’s not an issue with the speakers themselves.

How can I increase the audio volume for line in from my iMac?

Have you double checked all of your connections and made sure the adapter and cable are fully inserted? Have you looked at the Audio MIDI Setup settings under Utilities on your iMac?
