streaming Deezer using Sonos app on iPad mini. the system is a connect, playbase, and 2 x play 3s. Today the signal to the play 3s has been unstable. Not had a wifi signal problem for sometime. So not sure why system started to play up today.  I have already diagnostic: 2018509983.

Any suggestions?

Try unplugging the Play:3s from power for about a minute or rebooting your router.

You could also try connecting one of your speakers by ethernet cable to the router:
