I have added a few speakers recently, they will not group play and i get this error.  Individually i was able to play music from them and the RAY i added plays on the TV fine but will not group play.  I tried to change the network, no difference and same error.  

Power down all Sonos, reboot router, power up all Sonos. Check and do any updates.

If there are any updates try again once finished, if still not right do the power/reboot again.

26 units in the home, that will take some time :(


I powered everything down, full reset and still no go. Strange how I can play independently but not as a group


I added remote power switched to all my difficult to unplug Sonos to make the pain less.

If it is still acting up after all that a call to support is likely needed.


How is this the answer?? LOL

 

Had not used groups since October, worked ok then, today it is not working. I can see another thread that was closed. Is there an actual fix for this issue?


Manual check for updates, fixed. Although the sonos app crashed. Must have worked?


No idea who selected that answer.

Also I type bad and autocorrect makes it worse.
