I have a pair of Fives with a turntable connected to one channel.  When I put a record on, unless that pair is already set to the Line-In source, the speakers don’t play the record.  I have to manually switch the source in the app.  My goal is for people to be able to use the turntable without using the Sonos app.

When I bought this pair before the update mess, Autoplay worked fine.  I waited patiently for the feature to return to the app, which apparently happened in the July update.  However, autoplay simply does not work for me.  Are there any steps I can take to ensure that autoplay is correctly enabled?  The only setting that I see that looks like it would turn the autoplay feature on/off is the “Autoplay room” setting, which is set to the stereo pair.

Toggling auto play off and then on, and/or restarting the Fives, can sometimes help.

I appreciate the reply.  I tried this, and while autoplay did work once after toggling the feature and rebooting the fives, I’m now back to where I started.  When I spin up a record, the Fives don’t switch to line-in without me intervening in the app.

I don’t know if Autoplay is an issue in the latest software - maybe a moderator can tell us? The other possibility is that it times out after a while. Try the reset again. Stream some music, then play a record. After a few mins, stream some more music, and then start playing vinyl again. Repeat a few more times, just to see what happens and a see if that works.

Then leave it for 30 minutes and try another record. If that doesn’t Autoplay, generate a diagnostics report and contact Sonos support.
