I have two Era 100 speaker and a Roam. The two Era 100s operate fine on the home wifi system. I can see the Roam but when I choose to play “everywhere” including the Roam I get a message “Unable to connect. Try later.” They are all showing in settings as being visible and on the same wifi system. I have tried re-setting wifi etc. Any ideas?

Hi @Jono101, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues playing to your whole system. Usually an “Unable to connect. Try later” message stems from a connection issues, but what happens when you try to play the Roam by itself, do you still get the error message?

If you can play the Roam by itself, then what I’d recommend would be a full system restart by powering off your Router, any additional networking equipment, all your Sonos speakers, and any controllers running the Sonos app in that order for around 1-2 minutes. I understand you restarted your router already, but doing the whole system this order should help. Once everything is powered on and showing in the app, try grouping everything and starting playback.

If that fixed the issue for you, then you may be running into a duplicate IP address issue. One of our users has the following thread which explains how this occurs and how to resolve it:

I hope this information helps, but if you’re still having issues after trying the above then please reach out to our support team for further troubleshooting assistance.

I found that a factory re-set on the Roam and then connecting it again to the system did the job.
