Hi experts,

I will be moving to work in Bangkok next week and was originally planning to take 2 of my speakers to my new apartment but was then told by the shipping company that I could only take one ,so the Sonos 5 it is.
I wanted to be sure that there would be no problems with using the Sonos App and speaker in Thailand ?
There is a Sonos distributor in Thailand but the brand is not sold in many places as far as I can see

Does anyone have the answer to this ?

Different power plug?

Normally I would say there is no problem except for ensuring that the power plug fits into the mains socket, via an adapter if needed.

But just now is not normal and people in the US and elsewhere are struggling to get their Sonos speakers to work because of chaos caused by a new app version that is a reinvention of the app. So there is that to be aware of.

Thanks for the tips 😁👍

Well my worst fear was realised 😱

I tried to set up my Roam when I arrived and did a factory reset. The problem seems to be that I can’t connect to Wi-Fi. I live in a serviced apartment with a wi-fi network that you need to put in a name and password

Is this the problem and how do I get around it?

It’s so damn quiet in the apartment 😱

Community WiFi is often a problem, getting a Travel router to connect to the community and then hooking your Sonos and controller to is a common solution.
