Speakers keep disconnecting

Recently, my Sonos has been unresponsive. I have gone through all the steps of rebooting each speaker and do get them to mount in the app, but the next time I log on, they are gone. Sonos can’t find them. This has happened 3 or 4 times now. I’m super frustrated. I never had this issue before. Anyone have any ideas of how to get my system working properly again??

I have 2 Play 1, 1 Play 5, and a play bar. I’ve managed to have my TV use the play bar for sound, but the sonos app cannot see it. All the other speakers I can get working for a day and then they cannot connect again.

Try deleting the SONOS App from your device and then downloading it again. I had a similar problem with the app on my iPhone. Everything was working fine from my iPad and on the SONOS controller on my PC so it was evidently a problem with the app on my iPhone.

I have older speakers, will the new Sonos app work? Or should I stick with Sonos S1?

What older speakers do you have?

No, stick with S1. The Play:5 (Gen1) is not compatible with the new Sonos app.

How is your current system connected? Wireless or wired ie. you have a speaker/Bridge connected to your router?

I’ve tried both wired & wireless. I’ve used a bride and no bridge. Same issue arises.

Try wiring one of your speakers instead,
