I have several pairs of Sonos speakers in my home.

Since the update that was so poor a few months ago, one of my speaker pairs status lights keep turning on.

I turn the setting off and they go off, but then a couple of days later, they are back on.

I am not muting these speakers and I did not have this issue 3-4 months ago.

If the lights are on and an update is rolled out, the status lights flash on and off for several minutes until the update completes and the status lights turn off, but some time later, they’re back on.

Suggestions on trouble-shooting are appreciated.

The lights are white when they reappear.

I’ve encountered this problem in the distant past. Here’s what worked for me…

Try unpairing the speakers - check both status lights are off (toggle them on/off, if necessary) then re-pair them and see if the issue goes away.

What color are the lights when they just come on?

Green would be muted and there have been reports of that happening with no user input.
