Over the last few weeks I have been experiencing speaker drops outs.

I have a small system

Lounge - Arc, 2 x 3’s in home cinema mode and recently I added a sub mini but the problem was happening before this was added

In the nest room adjacent I have a singel Era 300

In the bedroom I have a Play One, but am ignoring that as it rarely gets played

I often group together the ERA300 with the Arc, 2x 3s and Mini Sub especially when I am working early in the morning.

I first noticed this on my Arc when watching TV

The sound would go very quiet. Not fully off but a noticable drop in volumen. It would last maybe 5 seconds and then come back.

When playing music through the grouped speakers, today, I noticed that the ERA300 would drop off completely. Then come back after maybe 10 seconds. It did this a few times.

Then on one occassion it went fully and did not come back.

I use the desktop app on my Windows PC and checked and both rooms were ticked. So I unticked the ERA and re-ticked it and it came back.

The router is on the same room as the Arc and both the Arc and the ERA are about 15/20 feet from it

Any thoughts?

Any way of diagnosing this?

Thanks

Steve

I think that this is the first time I have not had a reply to an issue with my Sonos.

I guess that the app issues dominate this forum now
