Like others my Sonos speaker has disappeared from the app and it now can’t find it. Thought I would share the details

The above happened a while ago after Sonos updated the app. Then today I opened the app, ever the optimist, and lo and behold a picture of my One SL appeared as found. Obviously one of the recent updates has fixed it. I selected connect and after 30 seconds it told me it couldn’t connect. Now it can’t even see the speaker, again. The speaker appears on my network WiFi so I know it “exists”

 

Ive tried the WiFi on 2.4 and 5Ghz WiFi with no joy. Admittedly the app is not essential but it is useful. This is pretty disgraceful IMO. I know Sonos have said they are going to issue updates but even finding their own products from the app is a poor reflection on them
