For about the sixth time this week the Sonos system has become invisible to the Sonos app - on Desktop (and occasionally on the Android App). However Spotify detects the device. On occasion Spotify cannot detect the device but the Sonos App can…..Madness….

  • I have set fixed IP addresses for the Sonos devices as previously suggested.
  • Rebooted router (ASUS 
  • Restarted Devices

etc etc

I can’t keep doing this ad infinitum…..

 

Not knowing which ASUS router you have, have you disabled Airtime Fairness as indicated in the FAQ? Is one of your devices wired to the router, or are they trying to connect via WiFi only? Have you tried to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it?

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
