Why is it that my Amazon speakers work efficiently and effortlessly everytime I ask them to play music whereas my Sonos speakers have caused me nothing but grief and hardship from the day I purchased them?  They rarely stay connected to my wifi for any worthwhile period of time and it’s always an exercise in patience and frustration trying to get them reconnected.  As for the Sonos app, well it sucks (sorry, no other word comes to mind that better describes it). As with the speakers, sometimes it works, most days it doesn’t. 🤬

The connection type is different, and consequently the use of the network is different.

Remember, Sonos devices have a computer inside most devices (all speakers), whereas Amazon doesn’t.

If you’re asking for assistance in managing their connection to your network and each other (another thing Amazon doesn’t do on your network), you’ll need to provide a lot more information.

On the other hand, if you feel better by having posted your concerns, no need to respond. You’ve certainly made your point.
