I had two Sonos Five that I sold privately. The buyer is a little discontent because the touch controls do not work on the one of the players, or at least the play/pause buttons. This is something I never have noticed myself since I never used these button. He sent me a text message from a Sonos chat that suggested that it is known some Sonos Five indeed have this defect. Since I bought the players in 2020, it’s too late to claim any warranty.

Anyone who have run into this and can confirm?

Yes, I know that there it possible to turn off these button, and I probably had made that configuration change. However, since I did a factory reset before the buyer picked them up, that should not matter.
