Hello,I use some old Sonos S1 units and they have worked fine until recently. Yesterday I wanted to connect a second device by cable to try to create additional stability, but since then I have not been able to connect to my Sonos system. I've just turned off the power on my router and on my Sonos devices and turned them back on. I have tried to connect to one Sonos device at a time, but the Sonos S1 app keeps saying that the system cannot be found. I've also reset the app and it hasn't changed anything. I also reset one of the devices. What could have happened? Thanks in advance.

Hi

I think it’s worth ruling out duplicate IP addresses, as you’ve rebooted your router, please see my article:

And if one of the S1 units happens to be a Sonos BRIDGE, I would remove that completely, and connect the Ethernet cable directly to a speaker.

Thank you for your comments.

I use a mesh kit and I hadn't thought that the Sonos devices have to be on the same network.
Before, my Sonos Connect was connected to my router with a network cable.

I have now connected my Sonos Connect to one of the mesh devices with a network cable.
I then reset and added all four Sonos devices in the Sonos S1 app. It now works as it should. :-)

Can I mark the topic as resolved somehow?
