Router Change Problems

I recently change routers and internet provider service from Xfinity to Verizon 5G. As I was reconnecting my various Sonos equipment items, and all came back online except one. I have a Sonos Five on top of our wall cabinets in the kitchen, and the new router is one floor below, maybe 50’ away. I was able to completely reboot the Five speaker, and it would work temporarily, but for only 3-4 min. I did this two times. I’ve also unplugged it and attempted to have the system find it, but that was never successful.

Any ideas?

Take it to the router and hook it to Ethernet, then power it up and check to see if any updates are needed.

Unhook the Ethernet and move it 3 feet (or so) from your router and see how it works. Your new router may have a dead space and the Five may not be finding your other Sonos to link through.
