Room with a Beam drops out of Group on it's own.

I’ve got two rooms with a single Sonos OneSL each.  The third room had two Sonos OneSLs in a stereo pair.  All the speakers are wired to ethernet.  Grouping the rooms worked flawlessly.

I recently added a tv and a Beam to the third room.  The Beam is paired with the two Sonos OneSLs.  The beam was not initially wired to ethernet.  When this third room is put into a group, music will play throughout the building, but after some random amount of time the third room drops out of the group and will be listed in the Sonos app separately from the group.

For the first week or two the Beam was not wired to ethernet, so I wired it up hoping to resolve this issue.  After about a month, the issue repeats each time I group the third room with another room.

Seems odd. Have you confirmed it’s not a duplicate IP address issue?

I’d probably submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

Don't fret! Likely culprits wireless fuzz, mismatched speaker updates, mesh network mayhem or maybe just a software hiccup. Try changing SonosNET channel, update firmware, switch off mesh, double check settings, and reboot everything. Sonos support's got your back too You'll be rocking in every room again in no time.
