When you mention “connected together” do you mean that they are wired to each other? If so, this is not recommended.

Do you have any other SONOS units? When having update difficulties, I recommend wiring the units to your router while you update. If you will be using the units wirelessly over WiFi, make sure that the correct WiFi credentials are entered into the units while the units are wired to the network. In Settings you can go to  System > Network > Manage Networks and manage the SONOS WiFi credentials.

Refrain from Factory Reset  without further consult.

Try temporarily wiring the errant speaker to your router with an Ethernet cable, then try the update.
