Hello, 

I recently moved and I’m setting up my Play1 on a new wifi network. The app finds my device, chimes, and requests the password for my new wifi network. I enter the password but I get an “unable to connect” message. Retrying does not work. 
 

I’ve plugged the device directly into my router with an Ethernet cable which does work. I’ve enabled wifi in the Sonos app, but when I unplug the Ethernet cable and try to connect through wifi again, I’m hit with the same problem, “unable to connect”. Has anyone experienced this same issue?

Can you configure the wifi whilst still Ethernet-connected, and then disconnect the cable? 


The Sonos app has an issue with WiFi connectivity at the moment so sadly it may not be resolvable at the moment. But of course try suggestions even if they provide a temporary fix

Sonos have just made another statement saying they are holding back two new products until app is fixed
