I have a stereo pair of Play:5 . Also other Sonos equipment in the house. They are all connected on Wifi.

When playing music on the stereo pair of the Play:5, music drops out. Ping times to the left side of the Play:5 pair shoots up to 2+ seconds (from ms):

The right side ofthe Play:5 pair has consistent low ping times.

When starting the music from another set and then letting this Play:5 join that group, ping times stay low , also on the “left Play:5”.

I’ve tried wiring the Play:5 stereopair (including Sub) and that helps for that set, but then other Sonos speakers (that cannot be wired) have music drop outs.

Any help or pointers are appreciated.

There may be wifi interference for that speaker in particular, but you’ve taken the step to submit a diagnostic, so I’d recommend that you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.
