Play 3 - Future Use

Hi. I‘m about to buy a Sonos Five and record player.

I have a trusty Play3 that’s regularly used. Once I get the Five I’m not sure what to do with the Play3 other than use it in another room.

Can the Play3 be used as part of the record player/Five system or is that pointless?

Thanks

Alan

My surplus Sonos get moved to other rooms and work very well that way.

As others have said you can group them all together or just some, and listen to whatever you are playing in each room or different stuff on each non-grouped Sonos.

You will have to use the Play 3 in another Sonos room or actual room. You cannot pair it with the Five. You could group it with the Five though. Even if the Five is attached to a turntable.

And you can listen to the turntable on the 3 whilst listening to streamed music on the Five. Isn’t Sonos versatile?
