I have a Play 3 whose matching Play 3 no longer works. Is there a new speaker that I can make a stereo pair with the old Play 3?

I don’t think so, maybe something using a third-party app.
I’d look at newer Sonos if that works for you or a used Play 3 which I’d do myself.
