not able to change wifi with my Sonos Beam

I just upgraded my Bell router to the Hub 1.5 download speed.

I set up a 2.4G wifi channel for it, and when I go through the procedures to change wifi’s I get the message “can not connect.   How to I fix this problem?  Do I have to reset speaker to factory settings?  If so how?

Make sure the router WiFi is 802.11b/g/n backward compatible for the 2.4Ghz band, with security mode WPA2 Personal AES - Also remove any old WiFi credentials from Sonos first and I would definitely reboot the router, speakers and the mobile controller device beforehand and ensure no security software like VPN client, firewall or antivirus Apps are running on the mobile/tablet too.

To switch to a different router, or WiFi network (if that’s what you’re attempting to do here), see this Sonos Support link…

Thanks Ken.  I find the speakers on my app following these procedures, and put in the password for my wifi. Getting the message cannot connect. I will contact help desk on !onday.
