I have an older Playbar (2017) that won’t play sound- from any source. This isn’t a matter of not hooking it up to the TV correctly, it won’t play even when streaming. The app shows full functionality and control, and shows music playing, but no sound. My guess is that there is a physical issue inside the speaker itself. Any thoughts?

Call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and network.

If there is a hardware issue, they may be able to diagnose, or suggest an alternative. 


Sanity check: make sure it is not Muted or the volume is not set to zero.
