I’m considering purchasing the Sonos 5. My current problem is I own 4 IKEA/Sonos symfonisk speakers which are great however they seem to suffer from network connectivity issues from time to time. My question is whether or not adding a Sonos 5 would fix this problem as it has perhaps more dedicated hardware to address the sonos net issues.
I have a very modern Unifi Dream Router and a dedicated network just for Sonos but it still requires being restarted every few weeks or reseting sonos speakers which is a bit annoying. It even seems to occasionally affect 2 of the speakers which are directly connected by ethernet.
Is there any evidence to support my theory that adding a Sonos Five would fix this?
