I bought my Mom two Era 100’s, set them up with this iPhone App….a rather brutal, 2 hr long process of trail and error. Got everything setup, got her setup with Spotify and taught her how to use the Sonos App to play music, which was her ultimate goal. I left her house relieved and then about 20 minutes later she texted me saying:

 

“The speakers keep mysteriously playing music.”

I went back over and she had the Sonos app closed out completely on her iPhone and laptop. I opened the Sonos App and paused the song. ABout 10 minutes later it did it again, just randomly playing music when we don’t want it to?!?!

 

We had to unplug everything and put it back in the boxes. I’m supposed to go back today to “fix it”.

 

What in the world is going on here with these speakers. Why is music playing when she’s not opening an App and selecting what she wants to hear and pressing play. Then when she’s done listening to music she should be able to press stop and be done. Right?! Help me folk, help me!
