Now i’m getting real tired of being a Sonos user.

Since update to IOS 17.6 and 17.6.1 my speakers are totaly bonkers.

i saw the CEO’s update, so i think it’s a bigger problem than just me.

i have 2 Era 100 conected with my turntable and TV. Bur the Line-in looses connection all the time. And when it’s connected, the sound moves from left to right constantly.

i have deleted the system and set it up again, but the same happens. So now i’m getting a bit pissed that a company that produces high-end products don’t deliver.

more people with the same problems?

@Persson101

No, I haven’t the same problem. My Era100 and also Era300 work without issues using the original Sonos audio to usb c adapter.

If you are looking for help, please give us some more information. Do you also use the original Sonos adapter? Maybe it’s damaged… I would call Sonos support after sending a diagnosis. If they can see anything there on adapters hardware, they probably will send you a replacement.
But the other question is… how du you use rwo sources, phono and tv, with the same adapter?

Hi Ralf

i’va had the same issue earlier, and i talkes to Sonos support and they then said there were software/app issues.

and after a update, it was all good for some time. Until IOS update to 17.6.

i use an RCA-switch, so i can switch between sources inn/out. Quite good 👍

And yes, i use the original adapter

@Persson101

Ok, thx for clarifying… so imo there really might be some wifi issues. Did you try to set audio compression to „compressed“ instead of „automatic“?

Also you can try to set a higher aufio delay in room settings of the stereo pair.
Moving the Eras to another place just for testing can also help to locate the reason for the problem.

I’m not stupid. I’ve tried al suggested sullutions,  but it’s an SW issue.

It’s all Sonos SW and they should own up to it.

But they don’t. I don’t rely on them from now on

Uups… sorry, I‘m not stupid, too. Just tried to help with some advice. But maybe it was my fault that I didn’t get it right you already figured out „it’s all Sonos SW“.
