i have just purchased two new 5 speakers and cannot get them to set up. app keeps asking me to update app and then when I try it puts me in a loop asking me to sign in as the system owner. I am the system owner. Does not matter if I try over wifi or directly to router. Have rebooted router, reinstalled app, done anything I can think of. Seems there is no fix that I know of. Is there a fix? I have seen folks mention an app you can download to the mac desktop, but I cannot find that in the app store…. Is there a fix? Or do I box them up and send them back?

I have exactly the same with a new Arc soundbar. I havent got the sub out the box yet…. ! According to Sonos support notice about the wonderful new app experience, there is currently NO workaround for this…!
for now it seems we’ve just paid a lot of money for some ornaments!
i am going to try and add them from the PC app this morning but luke you, am pretty miffed at the moment…
