I have 2 x play 3 and a sub in my dining room is there a way of making it louder ? 

Use the volume control in the app, or the buttons on the speaker? 
 

Or, more seriously, check you’ve not set a volume limit?

 

Other than that: more speakers and Group them.  
 

If you just mean the Sub, there is adjustment available under Settings/System/roomname/Sub Audio
