I have had two Sonos 5 speakers since August 2022. Worked fine with the app till about June this year. Then could not access. Returning after long trip abroad, I have reinstalled the app, can see profile and speaker details, but cannot yet make them work as speakers.

Thinking of returning the speakers to the shop and asking for most of my money back.

I know loads of other users have problems, but how are Sonos handling this crisis?

Shall I return the speakers next week? They used to be great.

Currently unusable!!

What did Sonos support say when you called them? 


I managed to get one speaker restored, and it still had all the right details on it, and now operates fine.

But the whole dashboard looks quite different from before.

Still working on the second speaker, which, for some reason, is taking me through a series of hoops.

Will contact Sonos support if I can’t sort things.

I thought, from recent feedback to the new app/upgrade, that it would be far more difficult. Hence my message to others.
