Good evening, I own a system that includes an arc, a sub Gen 3 and a pair of eras 300 as rear speakers. A little over a month ago, I started to notice a popping sound and I found a hairline crack on the back of one of my Era 300 (photo included). Since it was still in warranty, I took it to the store from witch i bought it on May the 2nd and i told them that apart from the cosmetic issue there is a performance one as well (popping sound) and if the damage is not covered I am willing to pay for the repairs. Last week I received a text that my device was ready for pick-up. When I got there and opened the box, not only the back was not fixed but around the rim of the back there were clear marks (screwdriver?). I told them that I will not take it as it was and to send them back and bill me for the repairs. Today the called me and told me that the authorized repair center here in Greece not only cannot to the repair on my dime but replacement parts are not produced. What can I do to repair my device (cosmetic and performance), am I stuck with e-waste?

I would make a phone call to Sonos customer support.  I don’t know that anyone here can give you good advice about how Sonos operates in Greece.  In the US, if a product is under warranty with Sonos, you would get a replacement product, not a repair.  You would not return it to the store, but speak with Sonos directly.  There isn’t any authorized repair locations as Sonos doesn’t authorize any repair currently.

Thank you for your reply

The only authorized Sonos repair locations I know of are in the UK (Currys) and unofficial ones are in the UK and Germany.
