Is it possible to connect a speaker from 1 gen like play 5, to a speaker of gen 2 like the Ikea lamp?

+6Your Symfonisk gen 2 table lamp is not compatible with the S1 controller, and your Play:5 gen 1 is not compatible with the S2 controller.
There are some “gen 2” speakers that can work with an S1 Controller. See the following article for a complete list of devices that are compatible with your S1 controller:
