connection issues

My speakers keep getting disconnected and unreachable from the app. It's an issue both me (Android)  and my wife (iphone) have all the time. I need to unplug the speakers between every playlist change. I'd be able to play whatever is on the playlist by pressing play button on the speaker, but unable to connect to it by the app. After unplugging and plugging back in, things would work, but after an hour or so... and we want to change the playlist, speaker would be unreachable again.

Are you using the new app? If so it’s the new POS app.

Well, I am. But the problem was the same with the older app too. I was hoping the new app would help, but it didn't. It is (and was) pretty bad... Once, I was able to connect to the speaker through the Spotify app and play a playlist, but was unable to connect through the Sonos app.

It is so frustrating that I am looking to abandon Sonos all together. 

I am hoping there's a "simple" solution in settings or something that I am not aware of.
