Hi

i used trueplay. But the speaker has way too much treble. If i turn loudness off in the EQ settings the speakers sounds very flat. With loudness on the trebles so high that i get headaches. But i cant find a setting between to harsh and enjoyable. If i set treble to -10 it sounds as if the speaker is behind a cussion, but if i turn it up a bit its to harsh. If i turn loudness off its ok but then like i said the sound's very  flat.  I never expierienced this with my echo studio or echo show. The speaker seems also very loud even just on 20% volume.  Thanks for your help. 😄

It’s worth contacting Sonos support as they can determine whether or not the speaker is working properly.
Regarding the volume, different devices have more (or less) efficient speakers, different amplifier power ratings, different frequency performances. If it’s “too loud” at 20% volume, reduce it to whatever is suitable.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Yeah i will contact the sonos support. The Speaker is just too powerful for my little room. What i’ve done so far is putting it away from the wall in a differend part of the room, farther away from me. Startet trueplay again, set treble to -10, bass to +8 and reduce maximal loudness to 50%. Now the speaker sounds ok-ish.
